Tinopolis subsidiary Folio Productions has won raft of popular factual commissions for ITV1 and ITV2, featuring Madonna, Paul McCartney and Britney Spears.
Million Dollar Divorces (1x30’) for ITV1 charts some of the world’s most expensive divorce battles, including Britney Spears and Reese Witherspoon.
ITV1 has also commissioned a follow-up one-hour documentary on the McCartney divorce, following Folio’s earlier McCartney vs McCartney programme which drew 4.2m viewers to the ITV1’s 10pm slot earlier this year.
ITV2 has ordered a one-hour version of Million Dollar Babies after a half-hour version was confirmed for ITV1 last month. The programme looks at the trend of celebrities such as Madonna, Angelina Jolie and Ewan McGregor adopting babies from developing countries.
All the programmes were commissioned by ITV Director of Factual Alison Sharman. They will be produced by Sandra Oddy and executive produced by Folio MD Steve Anderson.
